Biography - Born and raised in the Chicago area, Dempsey won Honor and Purchase Awards at the Illinois Art Competition in 1984 while attending Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois. He studied art under Dane Loomis at Ohio University where he began to develop his pop-impressionism art style. Dempsey's career as an advertising art director and creative director shaped the subjects of his later efforts. |
