Artist's Statement -

Biography - '''Mino Argento''' is an Italian artist, born in Rome (January 5, 1927). he lived there until 1969 when he moved to New York City. He once worked in Architecture in Italy and this sense of geometry pervades his paintings. He is a philosopher of space. He plays with geometry, constructing ideal realms of juxtaposed squares, triangles, rectangles and grids. The spaces that he creates flow in different directions constantly breaking up and creating new dimension within the canvas.
