Biography - Tomlinson was born in O'Neill Nebraska in 1969. After high school she moved to Alaska where she earned her BFA at the University of Alaska Anchorage in printmaking with a secondary emphasis in oil painting. In 1998 she attended the University of <br> Hawaii Manoa where she received her MLIS. In 1999 Tomlinson moved back to Alaska where she took a position as an Assistant Professor of Library and Information Science at the University of Alaska Southeast. Her current home and studio are on Douglas Island Alaska.
