Mediums - Acrylic, colored pencil, pastel, wood
Artist's Statement -As a child, I played with matches ~ But not to set fires…I used the burned out matches to draw pictures that reflected my feelings about myself and the
world around me.
Painting is, for me, a reflection - a visual picture as it were , of my often confused and very busy artist's mind. When a painting comes into my mind, it creates almost a madness to produce it no matter what I'm doing at the time. The painting's vision mesmerizes me.

Biography - I formed my love of art in my early childhood. As a child, I created drawings that expressed how I was feeling and the powerful influence music has had on my life. Later in school, I excelled in art and science but my parents, being "practical" people, knew I couldn't make a living doing art. So, with their enthusiastic support, I learned and have made my living for the past 20 years, as a proofreader and desktop publisher.
For many years, art, as its own expression, was out of the picture. I finally couldn't ignore what I call my "Muse" anymore and I began doing small works in pastels. Since then, I have rediscovered my great love of art and have been working to share that love with the world.
