His artwork covers the entryway of the Muskegon County Museum and his murals boarder the walls of the children's library, titled"The World at Your Door" and "Idle Hours with Good Books is Time Well Spent". Biography - Born in Muskegon Mi.1908,Died 2002 Wally studied art classes at Hackley manual Training School,under the training of Wilbur Kensle in 1927.Then serving as a Sergeant in the US Army Aircorps he begain training again in 1946 at Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Fl .He received many awards in his chosen professional field, of which include the prestigious American Association of State and Local History Award. |
