Biography - Biography. Born 30 November 1946, Lansing, Michigan. My parents were Leo N. Wesley & Evelyn P. (Arnold) Wesley. I was the fifth child. I lived most of my entire life in Michigan. I did live in Arizona for a brief period and I was in the U.S. Navy from September 1964 – January 1968. Upon separation I moved back to live in Michigan. I settled here and I am married 28+ years to Laura June (Salo) Wesley. I have two adult children. I am semi-retired. I did furniture restoration-repair for 20+ years—I am unable to do that for health reasons- so now I art when I feel up to it. I art because I can. I am from a family of artisans. My father was a commercial artist and my mother was an artist. My brother's were all artists in their own right. I art because it is natural for me. It comes very easy and I enjoy it most of the time. I like to make things and create things that are functional and non-functional. I like to make feel good art. Art that inspires you to celebrate life, to experience joy and be Thankful.
