Artist's Statement -The representation of Jewish culture in Kilav Harel's non-figurative style seemingly makes that milieu vibrate in slow fascination. Through his Hebraic interpretation, the personage becomes his letters; his letters his own personal alphabet. His colors flow effortlessly into the movement of his oeuvres – an approach demonstrating the eroticism found in true love.
Kilav Harel uses the scintillation of the fundamental colors of raw yellow and deep blue. Generosity; Strength; Coherency – his rich, colored and emotional compositions turn the sentimental into the sensual in all these attributes. Following the most ancient of traditions, his audience meanders into his cry to understand what is Judaism.
The Bible is as Watermark; the "Letters" are in Capital; the Love is total and Complete. The three elements make rhythmic our very existence.

Biography - The artist paints with many hands, one born of Belgian roots, another of Israeli dreams, and a third, most importantly, recognizant of the vast world around him. He proclaims his message as the spokesman for beauty and the spectacular – he interprets the soul of his conquests through the glorious facial reflections that only he can capture!
Like his preferred 'master', Jossi Stern, ex-professor at Bezalel in Jerusalem, Kilav Harel excites us with his masterfully colorful works where his conventional beginnings explode into a most remarkable contemporary style.
